
Susan M. Yeomans, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Susan M. Yeomans has been in practice at Eye Physicians since 2005; prior to that, she was a staff ophthalmologist at the former Fallon Clinic in Worcester.
Dr. Yeomans received her undergraduate degree with honors from Princeton University in Biochemistry, followed by her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed a residency in ophthalmology at the New York Hospital - Weill/Cornell Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She is on staff at the UMass. Medical Center, as well as St. Vincent Hospital.
Dr. Yeomans' clinical interests include both adult and pediatric eye diseases, including glaucoma, pediatric amblyopia, diabetic eye exams and the neurology of the eye. She has lectured locally on chronic and acute eye diseases and presented nationally at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting. In addition, she has published several articles on eye pathology and glaucoma compliance.
Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Yeomans is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the New England Ophthalmological Society and the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
